Hi! I’m Rachel

I’m a part-time multidisciplinary artist. I’ve never been one to stick to just one style. Although I have a definite soft spot for oils, I’m always eager to experiment with new mediums and techniques as I’m never quite satisfied sticking to one.

I’m drawn to painting all living things – people, animals, and the characters within our landscape. I hope my work reflects my love of the beauty found in creation. Whether it’s the human body, a beloved pet, or the shape of a gum tree discovered on a bushwalk, I’m always trying to capture the character and quiet spirit of my subjects, and share that with others.

I create both digital and traditional commissions, working closely with clients to bring their ideas to life while staying true to my own artistic style. I think visually, and I love how illustration and animation can communicate ideas and stories in ways that words sometimes can’t.
